Regional gymnastics

This last year for gymnastics was a bit of a whirlwind. Mya competed level 4 in the fall, then competed in one level 5 meet to test out and then had 3 level 6 competitions. The final competition of the year was Regionals which ended up being in Cedar Rapids, so it was an easy decision. There were 7 state there and Mya ended up 1st all around in her age group! She won the beam and floor, was 8th on bars and 11th on the vault.  She was the only person from all around at this session and so it ended up being just Mya, her coach Kevin, Chris and me at the meet and it was very special!
