Chris's mom had spring break last week so they were able to spend some time with us. They came in Tuesday evening and in Mya's words got to sleep over 5 times! She was always concerned about how many more days they had left to sleep here! We had a great time with them being here despite the fact that my kiddos gave them the "bug" that had been going around our house and both David and Linda didn't feel 100% the whole time they were here.
Max's classroom had an "egg-day" celebration that Linda and I got to help with so that was really fun for Max to have his Grandma in his classroom! On Friday we went to the Mines of Spain with the intention of going for a little hike, but it was still too snowy for a hike so we decided to visit the nature center which was a lot of fun. Max and Mya loved having their grandparents here and Ivy was pretty much in heaven because the only word she said for the first 2 hours they were here was "grandpa!" It was a nice break for me not to hear "mommy" every 2 seconds. We're so glad they came, but sorry they got sick!
On Sunday we hosted the first holiday at our house with both sets of grandparents! My parents came down and went to church with us. We opted for Easter brunch out at a restaurant instead of cooking at home and it was really nice! Here are some pictures from the Easter.
