Corn Maze

On Saturday we went to the Edmonton Corn Maze with our neighbors and had a great time! We went last year with them as well and had to go back this year especially because the maze was a John Deere tractor! One of the local dealers was celebrating 50 years. We got lost going around one of the tires at one point, but managed to get out and not lose anyone. (barely)

They had all of the other fun things a pumpkin patch has....well, except a pumpkin patch I guess:) The kids enjoyed the giant pillow trampoline, the pedal cars, the tractor ride, the corn box, the kettle corn, and of course all of the animals! We lucked out and had a beautiful morning...later in the day it rained for a short time and would have made this place a muddy mess so we were glad we were home by then. Not sure how many more great weekends we'll have, so we need to take advantage of them!

They had a QR reader hooked up with the maze so you could use your phone as a guide to get through the maze. It ended up failing us and we were able to teach the kids (and let's face it...their horrible at map reading mama as well) a good lesson...you still have to know how to read a good old paper map in certain cases! the paper map saved us and we were able to find all of the points along the maze and find our way out!
